Ironically, a disastrous earthquake changes their luck. Paul convinces Blasingame and his secretary, Walter Waltham, they can make money from Marie’s extraordinary weaving talents. Thus begins a seven-year apprenticeship and subsequent business adventure intertwined with hope. Will the family be reunited?
